OUR STORY

My partner and I share a deep love for animals. Driven by our passion, we decided to breed these beautiful dogs to help families find the perfect companion to bring into their lives. We spent many years raising Chihuahuas before moving on and selling that business. A decade later, we encountered the Greyhound and were immediately smitten! Our dogs are an integral part of our family, raised in our home with care and love. The puppies are healthy, joyful, and eager to bring happiness from our home to yours!

We keep our puppies up to date on vaccinations and ensure they receive a comprehensive health check from a veterinarian before they leave us. All of our puppies come with AKC registration and have champion bloodlines. Feel free to contact us to learn more!

ABOUT THE ITALIAN

GREYHOUND BREED

Greyhounds are known for their gentle and friendly nature, though they might be a bit reserved around new people. Offer them a treat, and you’ll quickly win them over. These dogs are smart, independent, and often show cat-like traits. They’re also quite sensitive and can pick up on stress at home, becoming shy or timid if not treated kindly.

A Greyhound’s personality is shaped by genetics, training, and early socialization. Puppies with a good temperament are usually curious, playful, and comfortable around people. When choosing a puppy, look for one that’s well-balanced—not overly dominant with its littermates, but not too shy either.

Like any breed, Greyhounds benefit greatly from early socialization. Exposing them to different people, environments, and experiences while they’re young helps them develop into well-rounded adults. Puppy kindergarten is an excellent start, and regularly inviting visitors or taking your puppy to busy places will help them build confidence and social skills.

Greyhound racing, historically known as the “Sport of Queens” due to the breed’s royal admirers, only adds to the breed’s rich history. But Greyhounds are beloved for more than just their past. They’re elegant dogs with a friendly nature toward both people and other pets. Loyal and loving with their families, they aren’t typically aggressive toward strangers, but they will alert you if someone approaches your home with a bark or a slight raise of their small, folded ears.

Despite their reputation as high-energy dogs, Greyhounds actually love to relax. They’re built for short bursts of speed rather than long-distance running, so a daily walk is usually enough to keep them happy. Active individuals will find Greyhounds to be great running companions, but they also adapt well to apartment living or homes with small yards, as long as there’s a secure fence to prevent them from chasing after small animals.

Whether you’ve chosen a Greyhound from a breeder or rescued one from a racing background, you’ll soon see why this breed has been admired for centuries. With their loving nature and unique charm, Greyhounds make wonderful companions who deserve all the affection they can get.
